Our client is an organized player of online jackpot games. These online jackpot games have substantial amounts in winnings and prizes, and our client understood this as a good money making opportunity. He wanted us to create a tool that could track these online games and provide real time data but tracking the dynamic jackpot amounts and analyzing game trends proved to be a daunting task. The client sought a solution to continuously monitor real-time data from multiple games, which could in turn enable him to analyze the data and make informed choices about where to invest the bets for the best odds of winning.

The Challenge

Dynamic Data: Jackpot amounts in some games were not readily accessible, requiring us to enter the games and extract the data, often in the form of images that needed to be converted into usable text using Google OCR.
Real-time Tracking: The client needed the tool to provide real-time tracking of jackpot amounts, allowing him to see the ever-changing values.
Analysis: The client wanted the data in a form such that it could be used for analysis, helping in identifying games with a higher likelihood of winning.

The Process

We developed a comprehensive tool that tackled the challenges head-on:

Data Extraction: We initiated by scraping data from the client’s website. Game IDs, game data, and jackpot amounts were extracted, with special handling for games lacking visible jackpot amounts.
Real-time Monitoring: The tool was programmed to continuously monitor the jackpot amounts, updating every three minutes. If a jackpot amount decreased, indicating a recent win, the tool flagged the game for analysis.
Image to Text Conversion: For games with jackpot amounts displayed in images, we implemented the Google OCR API. This allowed us to convert image data into text, ensuring no data was left untracked.

Data Capture Based on Someone Hitting the Jackpot: The tool could detect every instance when the jackpot amount of any game is reduced, their by indicating that the differential amount is won as.jackpot, which further helped in analysis by client.
Efficient in Real Time Tracking: Continuous scraping happens in a real time automated manner, reducing the need for manual tracking and thereby helping in scaling the winning process further on.
Higher probability of winning through Jackpot Data Insights: The tool could effectively present the collected data into useable and readable insights in form of Graphs and Line charts.
This results in increased probability of winning the jackpot as the gaming decisions are more data driven and have a strong scientific backing.
